Raw Vegan Coconut Bacon

Ingredients:

2 cups shaved coconut

Bacon Marinade:

  • 1 Tbs coconut aminos or tamari
  • 1 Tbs maple syrup
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne or crushed red pepper

Instructions:

  1. Place all of the marinade ingredients into a large bowl and whisk together.
  2. Add shaved coconut and stir until evenly coated.
  3. Dehydrate at 105° for 4-6 hours.
