Better than a Butterfinger

Equipment needed:
Food processor
8×8 glass dish
Stirring bowl
Spatula
Spoon

Ingredients:

Base

  • 1 cup dried mulberries
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, liquid
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown buckwheat

Chocolate

  • 1/3 cup cacao butter
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Process the mulberries in a food processor until you have a sandy consistency.
  2. Add everything else except the buckwheat and process until evenly mixed together.
  3. Transfer contents to a bowl, stir in the buckwheat, then press into an 8×8 glass dish.
  4. Using a double boiler melt the chocolate ingredients until smooth.
  5. Pour liquid chocolate on top of base and then place in the fridge for one or more hours.
