eat, think, move

The Prana Kitchen is about increasing awareness, cultivating mindfulness, and increasing life energy.

Prana is the Sanskrit word for life-force. It is considered to be a cosmic energy that permeates the universe on all levels. It is mentioned in yoga, Indian medicine, martial arts, Hindu philosophy, and tantra. Three things that have an enormous impact on the quality of our life:

  • What we eat
  • What we think about
  • How much we move

The Prana Kitchen’s mission is to provide insight on how to increase one’s life-force  and energy with food, philosophy, and exercise. Eat, think, move is a mantra designed to bring more awareness to your diet, your thoughts, and your physical activity.

The reason we’re alive each day.

Energy, clarity, creativity, longevity, enjoyment, and vitality are all affected by the food that we eat.

“The food you eat can either be the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison” – Ann Wigmore

The engine behind what we accomplish each day.

Our thoughts can either empower us or confine us. We are either motivated by what we think about or held back by the constraints of fear.

“As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kinds of thoughts we want to dominate our lives.” – Henry David Thoreau

Are you moving towards your dreams each day?

How much we move our body is directly linked to longevity and illness. The more you move, the longer you live and the stronger you become. The less you move, the shorter your lifespan and the weaker you feel.

“To me, if life boils down to one thing, it’s movement. To live is to keep moving. – Jerry Seinfeld”
